K ështu secili prej tyre preu një degë dhe shkoi pas Abimeleku; i vendosën degët përballë kullës kryesore dhe e dogjën atë. Kështu gjetën vdekjen gjithë njerëzit e kalasë së Sikemit, pothuajse një mijë veta, gra e burra.
