K ështu bijtë e Izraelit lëvizën, u ngjitën në Bethel dhe konsultuan Perëndinë, duke thënë: "Kush prej nesh do të nisë i pari luftën kundër bijve të Beniaminit?". Zoti u përgjegj: "Juda do të fillojë i pari".


The Israelites arose and went up to the house of God and asked counsel of God and said, Which of us shall take the lead to battle against the Benjamites? And the Lord said, Judah shall go up first.
