A tëherë Filistejtë pyetën: "Kush e bëri këtë?". Muarrën këtë përgjigje: Sansoni, dhëndri i burrit të Timnahut, sepse ky mori gruan dhe ia dha sii bashkëshorte shokut të tij". Kështu Filistejtë u ngritën dhe i vunë flakën asaj dhe atit të saj.

Then the Philistines said, “Who has done this?” And they answered, “Samson, the son-in-law of the Timnite, because he has taken his wife and given her to his companion.” So the Philistines came up and burned her and her father with fire.
