A morejtë ishin të vendosur të qëndronin në malin Heres, në Ajalon dhe në Shaal-Bim; por kur dora e shtëpisë së Jozefit u fuqizua, ata iu nënshtruan skllavërisë.

The Amorites remained fixed in Mount Heres, in Aijalon, and in Shaalbim; yet the hand of the house of Joseph prevailed, so that they became subject to forced labor.
