E tër, ju shkruaj sepse ju e keni njohur atë që është që nga fillimi. Të rinj, ju shkruaj sepse e mundët të ligun. Djema, po ju shkruaj sepse e keni njohur Atin.

I am writing to you, fathers, because you know Him Who has been from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have power over the devil. I have written to you, young boys and girls, because you have learned to know the Father.
