N ga të gjitha ato që kishte urdhëruar Moisiu, Jozueu nuk la pa lexuar asnjë fjalë përpara gjithë asamblesë së Izraelit, duke përfshirë gratë, fëmijët dhe të huajt që banonin në mes tyre.
