A tëherë Jozueu i tha popullit: "Ju jeni dëshmitarë kundër vetvetes, pse keni zgjedhur për vete Zotin për t’i shërbyer!". Ata iu përgjigjën: "Jemi dëshmitarë!".

Then Joshua said to the people, “You have spoken for yourselves that you have chosen to serve the Lord.” And they said, “We have spoken for ourselves.”
