M oisiu i kishte dhënë gjysmës së fisit të Manasit një trashëgimi në Bashan, kurse Jozueu i dha gjysmës tjetër një trashëgimi midis vëllezërve të tyre, nga kjo anë e Jordanit, në perëndim. Kështu, kur Jozueu i ktheu në çadrat e tyre, i bekoi,

And to the half of the tribe of Manasseh hath Moses given, in Bashan, and to its half hath Joshua given with their brethren beyond the Jordan westward; and also when Joshua hath sent them away unto their tents, then he doth bless them,
