D itën që Zoti i dorëzoi Amorejtë në duat e bijve të Izraelit, Jozueu i foli Zotit dhe në prani të Izraelit tha: "O Diell, ndalu mbi Gabaonin, dhe ti, hënë, në luginën e Ajalonit!".
