D he i thurën një kurorë me ferra, ia vunë mbi krye dhe i dhanë një kallam në dorën e djathtë; dhe, duke u gjunjëzuar përpara tij, e përqeshnin duke thënë: “Tungjatjeta, o mbret i Judenjve!.”

And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
