Z oti, Zoti, është betuar për veten e tij, thotë Zoti, Perëndia i ushtrive: "Unë nuk e shoh dot me sy madhështinë e Jakobit dhe i urrej pallatet e tij; prandaj do t’ia jap armikut në dorë qytetin me tërë ato që përmban".

Sworn hath the Lord Jehovah by Himself, An affirmation of Jehovah, God of Hosts: I am abominating the excellency of Jacob, And his high places I have hated, And I have delivered up the city and its fulness.
