A i që e ka lëshuar cjapin, e zgjedhur si cjap fajshlyes, do të lajë rrobat e tij dhe trupin e tij me ujë dhe, mbas kësaj mund të kthehet në kamp.

And he that let go the goat for the scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward come into the camp.
