P randaj ti, bir njeriu, u thuaj bijve të popullit tënd: Drejtësia e të drejtit nuk do ta shpëtojë atë ditën e mëkatit të tij; po kështu pabesia e të pabesit nuk do ta rrëzojë ditën kur ai të largohet nga pabesia e tij, dhe i drejti nuk do të mund të jetojë për shkak të drejtësisë së tij ditën që do të kryejë mëkate.


And you, son of man, say to your people, The uprightness and justice of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression; and as for the wicked lawlessness of the wicked lawless, he shall not fall because of it in the day that he turns from his wickedness, neither shall the rigidly upright and just be able to live because of his past righteousness in the day that he sins and misses the mark.
