P or tani kështu thotë Zoti, Perëndia i ushtrive, Perëndia i Izraelit: Pse kryeni këtë të keqe të madhe kundër vetes suaj, duke shkaktuarr shfarosjen tuaj në mes të Judës, burra dhe gra, fëmijë dhe foshnja, kështu që të mos ngelet prej jush asnjë mbetje?

Therefore now Yahweh, the God of Armies, the God of Israel, says: Why do you commit great evil against your own souls, to cut off from yourselves man and woman, infant and nursing child out of the middle of Judah, to leave yourselves no one remaining;
