p ër shkak të Kaldeasve, sepse ata kishin frikë prej tyre, me qënë se Ishmaeli, bir i Nethaniahut, kishte vrarë Gedaliahun, birin e Ahikamit, që mbreti i Babilonisë kishte emëruar si qeveritar të vendit.

because of the Babylonians. For they were afraid of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had killed Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon had chosen to rule the land.
