P as kësaj, Moisiu dhe Aaroni shkuan te Faraoni dhe i thanë: "Kështu thotë Zoti, Perëndia i Izraelit: "Lëre popullin tim të shkojë, me qëllim që të kremtojë për mua një festë në shkretëtirë"".

Afterward Moses and Aaron came, and said to Pharaoh, “This is what Yahweh, the God of Israel, says, ‘Let my people go, that they may hold a feast to me in the wilderness.’”
