A tëherë Zoti i tha Moisiut: "Shtrije dorën tënde mbi vendin e Egjiptit për karkalecat, me qëllim që ato të ngjiten dhe të mbulojnë vendin e Egjiptit dhe të përpijnë tërë bimësinë e vendit, tërë ato që ka lënë breshri".

And Jehovah said unto Moses, Stretch out thy hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail hath left.
