P or kur Esteri u paraqit para mbretit, ky urdhëroi me shkrim që komploti i keq që Hamani kishte kurdisur kundër Judejve të binte mbi kryet e tij dhe që ai dhe bijtë e tij të vareshin në trekëmbësh.
