M egjithatë në shpirtmadhësinë tënde të madhe nuk i ke braktisur në shkretëtirë; kollona e resë nuk u largua prej tyre gjatë ditës për t’i udhëhequr ata në ecje, dhe kollona e zjarrit gjatë natës për t’ua ndriçuar atyre rrugën nëpër të cilën do të ecnin.

yet thou in thy manifold mercies forsookest them not in the wilderness: the pillar of cloud departed not from over them by day, to lead them in the way; neither the pillar of fire by night, to show them light, and the way wherein they should go.
