K ështu Uziahu pushoi bashkë me etërit e tij dhe e varrosën bashkë me etërit e tij në fushën e varrimit që u takonte mbretërve, sepse thuhej: "E ka zënë lebra". Në vend të tij mbretëroi i biri, Jothami.

So Uzziah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the field of burial which belonged to the kings; for they said, He is a leper: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.
