K ështu tërë asambleja lidhi një aleancë me mbretin në shtëpinë e Perëndisë. Pastaj Jehojada u tha atyre: "Ja, biri i mbretit do të mbretërojë, si ka thënë Zoti për bijtë e Davidit.

and all the assembly make a covenant in the house of God with the king, and he saith to them, `Lo, the son of the king doth reign, as Jehovah spake concerning the sons of David.
