T i Salomon, biri im njihe Perëndinë e atit tënd dhe shërbeji me gjithë zemër dhe me shpirt vullnetmirë, sepse Zoti heton të gjitha zemrat dhe kupton tërë qëllimet e mendimeve. Në rast se ti e kërkon, ai do të të lërë ta gjesh; por në rast se ti e braktis, ai do të të hedhë poshtë përjetë.

“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.
