J osia hoqi gjithashtu tërë tempujt e vendeve të larta që ishin në qytetin e Samarisë dhe që mbretërit e Izraelit kishin ndërtuar për të nxitur zemërimin e Zotit. Ai u bëri pikërisht atë që kishte bërë në Bethel.

Josiah also removed all the houses of the high places which were in the cities of Samaria, which the kings of Israel had made provoking the Lord; and he did to them just as he had done in Bethel.
