M breti Roboam dërgoi Adoramin, të ngarkuarin me haraçet, por tërë Izraeli e qëlloi me gurë dhe ai vdiq. Atëherë mbreti Roboam shpejtoi të hipë mbi një qerre për të ikur në Jeruzalem.

Y el rey Roboam envió á Adoram, que estaba sobre los tributos; pero apedreóle todo Israel, y murió. Entonces el rey Roboam se esforzó á subir en un carro, y huir á Jerusalem.
