K ur mbërritën Joabi dhe tërë ushtarët që ishin me të, dikush ia tregoi ngjarjen Joabit, duke thënë: "Erdhi Abneri, bir i Nerit, te mbreti; ky u nda me të dhe ai iku në paqe".

When Joab and all the host that was with him were come, they told Joab, saying, Abner, the son of Ner, came to the king, and he has sent him away, and he is gone in peace.
