J ozefi e bëri ligj këtë në vendin e Egjiptit, i cili vazhdon edhe sot e kësaj dite dhe sipas të cilit e pesta pjesë e korrjes duhet t’i jepet Faraonit. Vetëm tokat e priftërinjve nuk u bënë pronë e Faraonit.
