N ow Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land.

Samuel já havia morrido, e todo o Israel o havia pranteado e sepultado em Ramá, sua cidade natal. Saul havia expulsado do país os médiuns e os que consultavam os espíritos.
