T hen Gideon took ten men of his servants, and did as the Lord had said unto him: and so it was, because he feared his father’s household, and the men of the city, that he could not do it by day, that he did it by night.

基 甸 就 從 他 僕 人 中 挑 了 十 個 人 ， 照 著 耶 和 華 吩 咐 他 的 行 了 。 他 因 怕 父 家 和 本 城 的 人 ， 不 敢 在 白 晝 行 這 事 ， 就 在 夜 間 行 了 。
