T hese all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

Todos éstos murieron en fe, sin haber recibido las promesas, pero habiéndolas visto desde lejos y aceptado con gusto, confesando que eran extranjeros y peregrinos (expatriados) sobre la tierra.
