Deuteronomy 9:18 ~ Deuteronômio 9:18

A nd I fell down before the Lord, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.

Prostrei-me perante o Senhor, como antes, quarenta dias e quarenta noites; não comi pão, nem bebi água, por causa de todo o vosso pecado que havíeis cometido, fazendo o que era mau aos olhos do Senhor, para o provocar a ira.
