t he great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the Lord thy God brought thee out: so shall the Lord thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art afraid.

acuérdate de las grandes pruebas que vieron tus ojos, de las señales y milagros, y de la mano poderosa y el brazo extendido con que el Señor tu Dios te sacó de allá. ¡Y eso mismo hará el Señor tu Dios con todos los pueblos de cuya presencia ahora tienes miedo!
