( for the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.

Vì Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời ngươi là Đức Chúa Trời hay thương xót sẽ không bỏ ngươi và không hủy diệt ngươi đâu; cũng chẳng quên sự giao ước mà Ngài đã thề cùng các tổ phụ ngươi.
