I f there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:

Se vi sarà qualche tuo fratello bisognoso in mezzo a te, in alcuna delle tue città del paese che l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, ti dà, non indurirai il tuo cuore e non chiuderai la tua mano davanti al tuo fratello bisognoso;
