T hou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every abomination to the Lord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.

No trates así al Señor tu Dios, porque ellos hicieron con sus dioses todo lo que es repugnante, y que el Señor aborrece. ¡Incluso lanzaban al fuego a sus hijos y a sus hijas, como ofrenda a sus dioses!
