t ake heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.

guardati bene dal cadere nel laccio, seguendo il loro esempio, dopo che sono state distrutte davanti a te, e dall'informarti dei loro dèi, dicendo: "Come servivano queste nazioni i loro dèi Farò anch'io così".
