a nd then the Lord’s wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the Lord giveth you.

poiché allora si accenderebbe contro di voi l'ira dell'Eterno e chiuderebbe i cieli e non vi sarebbe piú pioggia, e la terra non darebbe piú i suoi prodotti e voi presto perireste nel buon paese che l'Eterno vi dà.
