I s the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.

Atunci oare Legea este împotriva făgăduinţelor lui Dumnezeu? Nicidecum! Dacă s'ar fi dat o Lege care să poată da viaţa, într'adevăr, neprihănirea ar veni din Lege.
