F or he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

Anyone who eats the bread and drinks from the cup, if his spirit is not right with the Lord, will be guilty as he eats and drinks. He does not understand the meaning of the Lord’s body.
