B ut all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

Todos los que lo oían predicar se quedaban atónitos, y decían: «¿Acaso no es éste el que exterminaba en Jerusalén a los que invocaban el nombre de Jesús? ¿No es verdad que vino acá para aprehenderlos y llevarlos ante los principales sacerdotes?»
