f or the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

infatti il cuore di questo popolo si è indurito, e sono diventati duri di orecchi e hanno chiuso gli occhi, affinché non vedano con gli occhi e non odano con gli orecchi, e non intendano col cuore e non si convertano, ed io non li guarisca".
