w hich when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and, fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands, strake sail, and so were driven.

既 然 把 小 船 拉 上 來 ， 就 用 纜 索 捆 綁 船 底 ， 又 恐 怕 在 賽 耳 底 沙 灘 上 擱 了 淺 ， 就 落 下 篷 來 ， 任 船 飄 去 。
