A nd Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the king’s chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the king’s country.

Irod era foarte mîniat pe cei din Tir şi din Sidon. Dar aceştia au venit toţi într'un gînd la el; şi după ce au cîştigat de partea lor pe Blast, care era mai mare peste odaia de dormit a împăratului, au cerut pace, pentrucă ţara lor se hrănea din ţara împăratului.
