A nd the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.

فَنَما الصَّبِيُّ، وَكانَ يَتَقَوَّى دائِماً فِي الرُّوحِ. وَعاشَ فِي البَرِّيَّةِ إلَى حِينِ ظُهُورِهِ عَلَناً لِبَنِي إسْرائِيلَ.
