H ave I conceived all this people? have I begotten them, that thou shouldest say unto me, Carry them in thy bosom, as a nursing father beareth the sucking child, unto the land which thou swarest unto their fathers?

Sono forse stato io a concepire tutto questo popolo? O sono forse stato io a darlo alla luce, perché tu mi dica: "Portalo nel tuo grembo, come la balia porta il bambino lattante, fino al paese che tu hai promesso con giuramento ai suoi padri"?
