T herefore the Lord, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing.

De aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul, Dumnezeul Oştirilor, Stăpânul: «În toate pieţele va fi jale şi pe toate uliţele oamenii vor zice: ‘Vai! Vai!’ Ei îl vor chema pe plugar la plâns, iar pe cei ce ştiu să bocească, îi vor chema la jale.
