A nd after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Después de las sesenta y dos semanas se le quitará la vida al Mesías, sin que él intervenga en esto, y el pueblo de un príncipe que está por venir destruirá la ciudad y el santuario. El fin vendrá como una inundación, y habrá destrucción hasta que la guerra termine.
