W herefore, as I live, saith the Lord God; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.

De aceea, viu sunt Eu, zice Stăpânul Domn, pentru că ai întinat Lăcaşul Meu cu toate spurcăciunile tale şi cu toate urâciunile tale, Îmi voi întoarce şi Eu ochii de la tine! Nu te voi mai privi cu îndurare şi nu te voi cruţa!
