A nd the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.

E as nações saberão que os da casa de Israel, por causa da sua iniqüidade, foram levados em cativeiro; porque se houveram traiçõeiramente para comigo, e eu escondi deles o meu rosto; por isso os entreguei nas mãos de seus adversários, e todos caíram ã espada.
