A nd strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.

Y extranjeros, los más crueles de entre las naciones, lo han derribado y abandonado. Sus ramas han caído sobre los montes y en todos los valles, y su ramaje ha sido quebrado en todas las barrancas de la tierra. Todos los pueblos de la tierra se han retirado de su sombra y lo han abandonado.
