T hine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

‘Se enalteció tu corazón a causa de tu hermosura; corrompiste tu sabiduría a causa de tu esplendor. Te arrojé en tierra, te puse delante de los reyes, para que vieran en ti un ejemplo.
